In this exercise, you will get pictures of animals, one at a time, along with a clue giving characteristics that place that animal in a particular phylum or a category within a phylum.
You will see a device with a lever. Click on the lever to get a card with an animal's picture on it.
Next, click on the tab of a file folder for that animal's phylum or more specific category within.
The folder will open, revealing a slot to hold the card. Drag the card into the folder, releasing it over the slot.
If you have put the animal in its correct category, close on the folder and click on the lever to get the next card. You will see your score, which will increase faster if you take fewer tries to classify the animal correctly.
If you have opened the wrong folder, the card will jump back to where it started and the folder will close. Click on a different folder tab and try again.
So, how do you put an animal in its correct phylum? File 'em!
